Check out one of the following websites in English for some of the larger countries in Europe, such as:
France: The official French government portal for all short and long-stay visa applications and information.
Germany: "Make It In Germany" is the official government portal specifically for skilled workers and those looking to live/work long-term.
Portugal: The portal provides an overview of residency and work permits.
Spain: The official site for Spanish foreign affairs, detailing requirements for residency, studying, and working (including long-term residency rules).
Greece: Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Visa) & Ministry of Immigration and Asylum Long-stay visas are applied for through Greek Consulates abroad. The Ministry of Immigration handles the residency permit process once you arrive.
Italy: This portal provides general information on immigration, digital nomad visas, and living/working in Italy. You will typically apply through the relevant Italian Consulate in the U.S.
